Brief history of ITEC

The Independent Trade and Exploration Coalition (ITEC) originally established itself as a Player Association in the Star Wars: Galaxies MMORPG. Since its inception, in the Spring of 2003, ITEC has gathered mature online gamers creating a unique environment that has continued to expand and evolve, even though most of the current members no longer play the game this organization was designed around.

A large part of the evolution has been to expand ITEC to become a gaming community where its members can move on to other games, share their experiences and knowledge, and possibly meet up with other members in the same game.

What ITEC represents today

ITEC no longer has its original meaning, but the people of ITEC still stand for the same ideals:

• Integrity – Be it honesty, sincerity, or candor, the members of this community have it all.
• Teamwork – ITEC members work together sharing experiences, knowledge, and general know-how, to help each other in all ways.
• Excellence – Excellence follows integrity and teamwork, and quality is what ITEC is all about.
• Community – At its core, ITEC would not exist without our strong sense of community. Without good people, ITEC would be nothing but a vision.
